Terms of service

These terms govern your use of RubricRise (rubricrise.com), a bank statement conversion service operated from India (“RubricRise”, “we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms. You can reach us at support@rubricrise.com.

1. The service

RubricRise reads bank statement PDFs that you open in your browser, extracts transactions, checks them against the printed running balance and lets you export Excel, CSV or Tally XML files. Digital PDFs are processed entirely in your browser. Scanned pages can optionally be sent to our AI extraction service, where they are processed in memory and not retained.

2. Free allowance and page packs

Each visitor may export up to 5 pages per day free of charge. Additional pages are sold as prepaid page packs. One page equals one PDF page included in an export or AI extraction; for Excel or CSV statements, every 40 rows equal one page. Each pack is valid for the period shown at checkout (12 months for standard packs, 30 days for the single-statement option and the Firm pass), is tied to the email address used at checkout and is not transferable. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Accuracy and your responsibility

Automated extraction can make mistakes. Reconciliation checks reduce but do not eliminate errors. You must review every export against the original statement before relying on it for accounting, tax, lending or any other decision. RubricRise is a productivity tool, not an accounting, tax or lending advisor, and the outputs are not certified documents.

4. Acceptable use

You may only process statements you are authorised to handle. You may not use the service to alter, fabricate or misrepresent financial records, to build a competing dataset, to probe or overload the service, or in breach of any law. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Accounts

Sign-in is by emailed link. Keep your inbox secure; anyone with access to your email can use your pages. You are responsible for activity under your account.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Our cancellation and refund policy is set out on the refunds page and forms part of these terms.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; unused paid pages will be refunded if we discontinue the service.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its software and content belong to us or our licensors. Your statements and the exports you generate belong to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from decisions made on the basis of an export.

10. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Panchkula, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have.
